Kit Harington's New Movie "Blood for Dust", First Trailer Is Out

Game Of Thrones & True Detective Stars Fight To Survive The Cartel In Blood For Dust Trailer

The collaboration of renowned talents from "Game of Thrones" and "True Detective" is at the forefront in the latest trailer release of "Blood for Dust."

Directed by Rod Blackhurst, this upcoming crime thriller delves into the journey of a wandering salesman who encounters a figure from his past, leading him down a perilous path.

The film features Kit Harington, famous for his portrayal of Jon Snow in "Game of Thrones," alongside Stephen Dorff from the third season of "True Detective," with additional appearances by Josh Lucas, Ethan Suplee, and Scoot McNairy.

Presenting the inaugural trailer, The Avenue Film unveils an enticing glimpse into the world of "Blood for Dust," offering viewers an intriguing peek at what's to come.

Within the trailer, Harington's character, adorned with a distinctive handlebar mustache, embodies the role of Ricky, a character seemingly on the edge and entangled in a web of chaos.

The preview sets the tone for a film characterized by its dark ambiance and moments of intense violence.

Amidst the anticipation surrounding "Blood for Dust," questions arise about whether this project will serve as a pivotal moment in Kit Harington's career trajectory.

Following the conclusion of "Game of Thrones," Harington has embarked on several endeavors, yet none have quite matched the magnitude or significance of his portrayal of Jon Snow.

Despite his venture into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and other projects, including an attempted spinoff series centered on his iconic character, Harington has yet to reclaim the spotlight in a manner reminiscent of his "Game of Thrones" days.

While Harington's involvement in "Eternals" brought him back into the spotlight, the film's reception left much to be desired, casting doubts on the future of his character within the MCU.

Beyond the realm of superheroes, Harington's foray into Apple TV Plus' "Extrapolations" failed to garner substantial attention. However, with "Blood for Dust" generating positive early reviews and boasting a commendable 84% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, there's newfound optimism surrounding Harington's return to the screen.

Paired with a fellow "True Detective" alum, the film presents a compelling narrative that could signal a resurgence for Harington's career.

In addition to "Blood for Dust," audiences can anticipate Harington's appearance in the third season of "Industry," a highly-regarded series on the Max platform.

As the release date draws near, the anticipation for "Blood for Dust" continues to grow, offering audiences a tantalizing glimpse into the next chapter of Kit Harington's career.
