Sophie Turner made her first public appearance on Friday, since agreeing to a custody deal with her ex-husband Joe Jonas.

The 27-year-old actress, who shares daughters Willa aged three and 15-month-old Delphine with Joe, was dressed for the role in her new drama set Joan, which follows the life of a legendary British jewel thief.

The parents-of-two have agreed to share custody of their daughters for a period of two weeks until January, as part of their divorce proceedings.

Sophie was wearing a vintage denim jacket and acid wash skinny jeans with a pair of high top trainers on the set. According to Dailymail  She was spotted on a bench reading a book before putting on a dry robe in between takes.

Joan was married to professional diamond thief Boisie, who introduced her to a world of crime. Together they became Britain’s most successful diamond thieves, stealing millions of pounds. The new series is described as a ‘rags to riches’ story.

Meanwhile, Joe was all smiles as he cradled Delphine in his arms during a trip to New York.

In November last year, it was revealed that Sophie will be taking on the role of Joan, one of the world’s most infamous criminals.

At the time, she said she was ‘so excited’ to bring the ‘exquisitely fascinating’ story of ‘The Godmother’ to life.

'I'm so excited to be bringing Joan Hannington's fascinating life story to screen in Joan,' Sophie said.

'She is one of the most notorious figures in the criminal underworld of London, earning her the nickname ''The Godmother''.

'A woman who goes between her thriving and daring career as a jewel thief, all whilst trying to get her daughter back from social services, we see a mother in despair swept up in the exhilarating world of crime,' she added.

Sophie’s latest court appearance comes a week after she and her ex-husband Joe reached an agreement to share custody of their daughters for a period of two weeks until January.

They will also be able to travel anywhere in the United States and the United Kingdom, meaning Sophie will be able to bring the girls to her ‘forever home’ in England.

Jonas will be able to take the girls with him on tour with The Jonas Brothers, while Turner will be able to spend Christmas with the girls in the UK.

The settlement comes after a four-day mediation in New York where the girls are living with Turner. The court filing from Turner’s lawyer Stephen Cullen says the mediation was ‘intense and productive’ and that the custody agreement comes ‘in anticipation of a successful settlement of all issues.’

The settlement is expected to pave the way for the couple to finalize their divorce.

Cullen seems to have followed through with his promise to get rid of the mercury at the New York court hearing last month.

On September 1, Jonas filed for divorce from Turner in Miami, claiming Turner was too busy partying and not taking care of their daughters.

Turner then accused Jonas of not giving her the passports so she could go back to England with the girls. She said the kids were with her because of an international law.

The split has caused court cases in Miami, UK and NY, where the custody is being sorted out. In the New York court filing, it says the parties are in mediation in both the UK and US. The previous order said the girls were staying in New York, but the second order says they'll be with Turner between October 9 and 21.

According to the filing, Turner can travel with the children "temporarily" anywhere in the United States or the United Kingdom, but must return to New York "on the 21st of October" where they will be "transferred" to the Joe Jonas.

The filing states that the handover must be "at a time and place" suitable for both parties, and that "Jonas" will be "with the children" until "November 2" when he or "their nanny" will return to New York."

The filing also states that "Turner" can travel "anywhere in the United States" and "the girls" will be "accompanied" by "Jonas" on his "US tour" with the "Jonas brothers".

The filing states that Turner has the children for "the next two weeks" until November 22, and "Jonas" has the "girls" for the "next two weeks" until December 16, subject to "the same conditions."

The filing also states that the children are scheduled to be with their father "in Austin, Texas," "San Diego, California," "Anaheim, California," and "Fresno, California" on November 2.

Turner will be spending Christmas with her kids, but she'll have to head back to New York after Christmas. She'll be with them from Dec. 16 to Jan. 7.

A court hearing is set for January 2 to decide on the custody issues between the couple. Previous court documents show how the three-year marriage quickly ended in August after Jonas allegedly caught Turner insulting him  on a Ring camera.

Two weeks later, he filed for divorce, saying the relationship was over. Turner then filed for divorce in New York. According to court documents, the couple sold their Miami home in March and bought a $9 million home near Oxford, England, which they said they would make their "forever home".

Turner went further in her legal filings in Miami, including a letter she wrote to the seller that showed her husband was really excited about living there.
