House of the Dragon: Season 2 Is Already In The Works At HBO
Recent reports suggests that Season 2 of HBO's highly anticipated fantasy show, House of the Dragon, is already in development
New report from Redanian Intelligence claims that the second season of 'House of the Dragon' is already in the works, which means that season 2 has already been greenlit by HBO. Although, officially, HBO has not yet confirmed the news.
While the first season has yet to be released, a second season renewal may not come as a complete surprise to the fans that are eagerly waiting for this Game of Thrones prequel. HBO programming chief Casey Bloys previously stated:
Typically speaking, I like to take an approach where we will talk about what a second season might look like and talk about scripts. But we tend to like to see how a show performs. That said, if I were betting, I'd say there’s a pretty good shot that House of the Dragon will get a season 2. But we tend to like things to air and give it some time. That said, on most shows, we’ll do preparation and put ourselves in a good position to move forward.
House of the Dragon's star cast includes:
Paddy Considine as King Viserys
Emma D'Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra
Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen
Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower
Olivia Cooke as Otto's daughter
Steve Toussaint as Lord Corlys Velaryon
Eve Best as Princess Rhaenys Velaryon
Sonoya Mizuno as Mysaria
Fabien Frankel as Ser Criston Cole
